Super Bowl LIV
L.J. Faletogo

This year the Super Bowl took place in Miami, Florida. Where the Kansas City team played the San Francisco 49ers. The teams faced each other with a record of (15-4). Kansas City ultimately ended up beating the 49ers, 31-20.

Lots of 49ers fans were upset at the fact that the 49ers had lost. Starting off the game, the teams started off 7-3, with Kansas City in the lead. Going into half time, the game was all tied up at 10-10. After the 3rd quarter, the 49ers were up by 10. The score was 20-10. Ending the game Kansas City had won 31-20. Overcoming the huge deficit.

I asked Junior, Riley Piper, about the 49ers loss He said, “I guess I was pretty bummed out about the 49ers losing, during the 4th quarter, I was expecting us to win.” He also commented about how the 49ers played, , “I feel like the offensive line started to fall apart near the end of the game, they gave up a lot of sacks. The team in general lost their energy, they started to slow down on offense near the end. And the defense gave up too many big plays in key situations that cost us the game”.

Talking to Riley, I could just tell that he was such a big 49ers fan because of the different aspects of the game that he could just go on and talk about.

Continuing on that topic, Kansas City was crowned the new Super Bowl champions for their second Super Bowl championship. Which makes Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City’s Quarter-back) one of the youngest players to win the Super Bowl.
