The Highline Pirates baseball faced off against the Evergreen Wolverines at a night game on April 8. Highline took off taking a quick 0-15 lead in the first inning. Unfortunately, the umpire broke his wrist hit by a foul tip in the 3rd inning, this caused an hour delay until a backup umpire could arrive and finish the game. It was a great outing for Junior Jordan Moa who took a no hitter deep into the 5th inning. It was at this moment when he came to the realization that his shoulder was hurt. After, he was taken out of the game, Junior Joey Joyal was put in and allowed 2 runs. Highline would go on to win 19-2 over Evergreen, with the game ending in the sixth inning because of the score deficit.
