Broken Hearted in Mexico
Giovanny Tinoco

Everyone loves vacations! This is especially true where we are leaving to other places; far away from our daily tasks and stress. In my case, my favorite place to visit is my home, in Mexico, where my family and my friends are always waiting for me. That's why i’m always traveling there because I always want to see them; the best people in my life, people I have known for many years and who are still in my life. These people help me and support me to fulfill all my goals and creating some new experiences with me.

Honestly, this time my trip was really different to all others in the past because a lot of things happened. A lot of things changed, some people got out from my life and some new people arrived, but of course those people who decided to go away, left my heart  broken and with a big wound that only time will heal, but that’s not a reason to give up with my goals. I know people sometimes make mistakes, but i’m now learning about those mistakes and I’m trying to be alone at least in this little part of my life because I feel like if no one can understand me, but I know people do, because a broken heart is part of life.

Now, more than a story, this is a message for all students from HHS who are suffering or suffered something similar… We are people and we are not perfect, we make lot of mistakes but we make them to learn from them. If you are feeling like me right now, just remember, you are not alone. There are always people who will try to make you feel better, talk with your mom and hang out with your friends, they are the best medicine for this part of our young life.
