Description: The purpose of Debate Club will be to encourage students at Highline to participate in complex debates respectfully while growing their communication skills. The goals of our club center around creating a community that lets students engage in a discussion where they will exchange views about many topics. It is a goal for our club to keep our club space welcoming towards everyone and supportive to those who may need it.

Description: Our main goal would be to perform community service activities for Hispanic heritages and raise awareness about the most important needs of our latinx community. Also serve to spread knowledge about the diverse cultures of our Latinx students and enhance the richness of its people and resources in general.

Description: NHS is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors by invitation each fall based on a minimum G.P.A. Members commit to doing a certain number of volunteer hours per year to earn an NHS Medallion/Cord at graduation.

Description: Pacific Island Club is a group of students who gather to celebrate Oceanic cultures. They learn dances, songs, and traditions to share at events such as Highline High School’s Multicultural Night. Through their comradery formed in the club, members help each other with academics and accountability with attendance in classes. PI Club is a great way to not only learn about Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia but also helps practice Highline values the island way!

Description: SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. Our club serves high-school students preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. All students may join our club.
